How MSN and Yahoo Sells Your Traffic

Yes, it really happens. Now you can find it hard to believe, but you will understand that in order to explain. Before the end of 2004, governs the World indisputable search engine Google. In the second half of the year, things took a dramatic turn when Yahoo and MSN decided to challenge the Big G for some of their lucrative market share. Search engines are an important source of income, especially when it comes to advertising, and for many is their bread and butter. With the new position of Yahoo and MSN, advertisers have more channels through advertise their products or services. What makes Google outside the two main competitors in this field is to show how their ads. They deliver their ads through a system known as AdWords, which is little for viewers. Advertisements are placed in the right to establish a clear distinction of research results. The willingness to place ads above the SERPS. Overture is the company which is responsible for placing ads on Yahoo and MSN. Now, if you had to find a popular keyword in one of them, you will notice that the ads are the results, and on the right side at the bottom of the page, just above the Next button. This is where it gets interesting. After the privilege of working in a lab, I decided to run experiments. When customers came in and asked for information on various topics I instructed to use MSN or Yahoo search for more information. The first such wedding dresses either hoped for tourism in Jamaica. In both cases, you can click on the first available information, of course, the sample is relevant ads. I continued my attempt in a week and reached a decisive conclusion. Some search engines are selling our traffic right under our nose! The only time I noticed that the top sites normal click was when the keywords that are not competitive for the participation of advertising space. This leads me to question the quality of a traffic receives from Yahoo and MSN. For every visitor you receive what is the relationship between what has been lost to a result which sponsored? And it is implemented to optimize your site for them? Now, mind you, I like a few good rankings on Yahoo and MSN, but these are the keywords that are not as competitive. For those I love the flow of traffic coherent, but I think that quality is something to take a fresh look. I am not writing this to bash these guys on how they choose to do their business particularly how they choose to place their ads. My goal is to put in place while you can enjoy a top ten in terms of Yahoo and MSN, it is likely that you do not get many visitors you should and can get. ?
